Shannon Devine is a musician and private lesson teacher in the Houston, TX Area. Her musical career started singing and playing in church in her hometown of Lompoc, CA before continuing her musical career at Berklee College of Music; where she majored in Music Business with a focus in vocal performance. She currently performs at area coffee shops and farmers markets, as well as performing weekly at Simonton Community Church where she plays piano and sings with the worship band.

Shannon is currently the piano accompanist for classes and private voice lessons at Houston Community College, where she performs regularly for classes and master classes. To cultivate and grow her knowledge and love of all types of music, Shannon also volunteers as a member of the Houston Symphony Chorus. Before moving to Houston, she sang with the Santa Barbara Quire of Voyces in various concerts, and joined them on their European tour, culminating in the participation in the Llangollen International Music Eistedfodd.

As a solo performer, Shannon’s focus is unique and upbeat covers of Pop and Motown hits. During performances, it’s common to see Shannon swap between playing sets on Piano, Guitar, and Ukulele. Her favorite artists to cover include: Ingrid Michelson, Jackson 5, Ella Fitzgerald, and Nat King Cole. Shannon is currently taking on new students for private lessons as well as working on songwriting using unconventional techniques such as looping, vocal effects, and unconventional instruments.
